WHAT WE OFFER

In the Georgian State Archives we keep the genealogical records from the 19th century (census lists, church records on birth, death, marriage, etc) and film-photo-phonographs from 20th century on the Russian people who as known are living in Georgia from the 19th century and they retained their language, religion, food, culture and so on.


Peoples with interest at the genealogical or other historical documents we offer the following services: any kind of the genealogical and historical searching works, preparation of the family trees, coping of the archival records (including the audio-visual documents) and sending them to the requested address by postage, e-mail or fax.


Also, we will be happy to serve the scholars planning to travel to
Georgia for archival research. We can conduct initial archival searches and do other preparatory work, saving scholars time and other expenses.

Cost of the service depends on a kind and complexity of research. Payment is required on a contractual basis and in order to begin such kind of works our customer have to pay 50% in advance. If the results negative the advance payment not returns to the customer and will be issued an official certificate with information what and how many records were researched.
